Invention Licensing Scams

Reading Time: 4 minutes

My opinion of those invention licensing companies is that they are scams. Although I have never contacted any of them, they have submitted licensing ideas to me on behalf of their clients for review.

My experience has been one of feeling sorry for the people who paid all that money following their dreams. It seems like these invention licensing scams are just playing on these people’s emotions and their passion for wanting to bring a product to market. I wish many of them had just taken that money and started working on their designs and prototypes. It isn’t hard to build prototypes with the power of the internet at all of our fingertips.

Many of these companies will tell you how everyone else is scamming you and that they are an honest company only trying to help you. Yet, they are still trying to get you to sign up for their services that have no real value. Most, if not all of the information they are offering is available to you already simply by doing some research on Google.

Here is a list of some of their fee-based services

  • “Brutally honest” invention Reviews
  • How to protect your ideas
  • How to patent your invention
  • How to license your idea
  • Prototyping services
  • Manufacturing services
  • Product marketing
  • Order fulfillment
  • and more

While it is nice to imagine a world where you sit back and collect money for your idea, the truth is that it will take hard work along the way. That’s not to say that it won’t be rewarding and life-changing but you just have to plan so that most of the profits remain in your pocket. You want to avoid letting these invention help companies take your money. After all, if they were such great inventors, why would they be wasting their time charging you for these services?

Take me as an example. You could say that I am doing the same thing but just packaging it in another way. The fact is what I am actually doing is generating website traffic to sell products that I am inventing right now. The world of internet marketing has become very complicated with all the competition and also artificial intelligence used by Google and other companies to make sure you get the information that you need.

By offering real information on how inventors become successful, I am providing a service that increases my online trust and generates website traffic. It’s that simple and one of the things you will learn from this website.

You have to decide what you want to do with your invention idea.

Coming up with a good invention idea is a bit more complicated than simply having an idea and filing for a patent. If you plan to make any money with your invention, you can’t just sit around waiting for a check to come in the mail.

Bringing a product to market takes hard work and money.

Ideas, in my opinion, are worthless and have no value. It’s the implementation of your concept that separates the successful inventor from the dreamer who will lose money along the way. The next time you are looking for some invention help, watch our videos, read the information found on our website. You don’t need more than a computer or mobile device to become a full-time inventor.

DO NOT get fooled by all those people and invention licensing scams that tell you they will help license your idea to industry. In most cases, this fantasy will never happen. The invention help companies will just take your money. It will remain an invention idea and no final product or prototype. Remember, we think that invention ideas are worthless. The real value is in you selling your products directly to the customer and distributors.

At Invention Therapy, we believe that the power of the internet makes it easier than you think to turn your invention idea into a reality. In most cases, you can build a prototype and start manufacturing a product on your own.

Don’t Waste Your Time Or Money Paying Invention Submission Companies

Like I keep saying here, you can do it all on your own. You don’t need the help of any so-called “invention company.” You don’t want to waste your hard-earned money. The money you lost could have been spent on prototyping and building your products. Invention Therapy is going to show you every process involved in bringing your invention to market. You can learn from us and follow the same steps that many aspiring inventors like you are already doing every day.

Invention Therapy Will Teach You How to:

  • Come up with good invention ideas that can make money.
  • Invent original products that don’t violate other people’s patents.
  • Create sketches and documents to describe your product idea the right way.
  • Submit your own patents (we don’t like patents but there are still times when you may feel you need them).
  • Avoid patent filing mistakes.
  • Build working prototypes and final products from your invention ideas.
  • Create huge sales channels on the internet.
  • Manufacture your own product.
  • Find a sales boost via Kickstarter and other crowdfunding websites.
  • Build websites with stores and shopping carts that take credit card payments.
  • Make Money With Your Invention by selling your product online directly to the customer!

Disclaimer: While some inventors may have had luck over the years licensing their products to a particular industry, the world has changed a great deal with the advent of the internet. Just look at the age of the people offering this invention help and you will notice most of their products were invented a long time ago.

We know that there are legitimate companies out there helping inventors but it is hard for even us to know which ones are telling the full story. If you Google “invention submission scams” or similar you will see very poor reviews of most invention services. Invention Therapy believes that it is best to avoid those invention companies and PLEASE DO IT ON YOUR OWN.
